    The child care center was founded in 1949 by the United War Mothers Chapter I; a group of strong women dedicated to helping to ensure the community would provide a safe nurturing place for children while women entered the workforce because men were fighting in war.

    Raleigh Nursery School is equipped with a full commercial kitchen, a butterfly and vegetable garden, numerous class rooms, structured and free space, and more for your child to thrive safely and as injury-free as possible - which is our main concern.

    Our onboarding process is simple and revolves around getting to know the parents and children. Parents can complete a walkthrough of the school first, meet our staff, and then decide to take the next steps in the onboarding process.
